Yo… More great weather has drawn climbers to the best of the best in the Big Wall department.  Uuuu Reeeaaallllyyy missed it, if you are not here!  But there will be a string of many more good days this season so come on out.
Facelift started today and in a bit I am going to the evening show to see the Reel Rock Tour show.  Lots of people have shown up to help out with the effort and more are needed, so come on out!

Yo… Seems like Fall is in the air now.  Leaves are turning on the main drags but as usual in dry conditions the big oaks are just turning brown and falling off.  Maples and Aspen are saving the day so far.  The Facelift is about to start so the reports may be a bit late coming to you.  Nice conditions on ElCap and good routes are getting done.

Yo… Excellent climbing weather belies the number to teams on the Captain.  The Nose has one party above Sickle…Salathe has one party midway and the 4 Japanese working on freeing it are camped at Lung Ledge and not doing much…Zodiac is empty… so it goes.  Come on out… the days are getting shorter so take advantage while you can.

Yo… A fine day here in the Valley with thin, high clouds and cooler temperatures.  Looks like 70’s forever in the forecast.  Loving it!

Yo… Getting cooler by the day here in the Glory Hole.  Nice action today and as an added bonus the air was super clear… that’s why I love the Fall and not the Spring.  In Spring the air is full of pollen, moisture, particulates, and heat waves… not to mention the horrible angle of the sun.  Today was really sweet!  I wish you could see the high rez shots of the report shots today.  They are 18mgs but compressed to around 400kb.  Too bad for you and for me as today’s shots are super crisp and pop out on the screen.  Those of you who climbed today and get the shots are lucky climbers!

Yo… Cooler with some high clouds today. The Nose frenzy continues to dominate the scene so will get the most shots on the Report. Plus you are going to get some more of the “Golden Oldies” from the Iron Age!

So flop down in your most comfortable chair, crack a cool one, and relax while you read about climbers who are doing anything but relaxing! Here it comes … wait …. Wait for it…. Yeah…

Yo… Our long national nightmare is finally over …. The Nose is jammed with climbers and other teams are showing up daily! Still a bit on the warm side with the nights cooling off a bit. Plenty of action on the cliff today and there will surely be more in the immediate future.

Mayan Smith-Gobat and Chentel Astorga made a practice run on the Nose today in preparation for a shot at the record in the next few days.  BUT....Read about it below!!

Yo… Nicer weather every day, and more climbers heading up to the great rock. However, the trees are blocking our view of some teams. I have asked the NPS to cut down about 12 trees so the view from the Bridge would be improved… they sent a psychiatrist to verify that I am, indeed, crazy! So there are teams still to be reported on when they come into view.

Yo… another sweet day here, clear and not so hot. Interest in the Cap is picking up as it seems more teams are moving toward the rock.

Yo… A lazy Sunday here at the Bridge and on ElCap. The weather has cooled off somewhat and we need for YOU to get your butt in gear and come on out to do that route you always wanted to send.
